Electricity

Electricity is produced from the treated waste water of the Palm Oil Crushing Mill. The waste water contains organic compound decomposed via several biological methods under oxygen-free conditions in order to obtain methane, considered as an important biogas-powered fuel for generating the electricity. However, VG Energy Company Limited has entered into an agreement with the Provincial Electricity Authority, with 2 signed contracts on biogas electricity projects. Vichitbhan Palmoil Public Company Limited (VPO) operates the production and distribution business of crude palm oil, by-products and electricity produced from the treated waste water disposed from the crude palm oil refinery, with 236,000,000 million IPO shares, par value of 1 baht per share.
